Repair to hole in weatherboards and spouting repairs

With the removal of an old high wall heat pump there is a hole in the weatherboards (1960s house) that requires to be made weather tight. Currently filled with silicone. Hole measures approx. 250mm x 100mm. Also in the same location is a spouting downpipe which has come away from the spouting that is required to be repaired or replaced. Thanks
