Dryer Mount and Ventilation

Kia ora, we need our dryer mounted on the wall in a laundry cupboard above the washing machine. The dryer will need to be mounted on an interior wall, there currently a some ventilation on the exterior wall so I am not sure if we will need to have ventilation installed or not. I will add photographs soon.
