I have a small (1500 x 2850) and very old bathroom that has seen better days. Water has been leaking through into the particle board flooring under the tiles and this has slowly turned to weet-bix in a couple of places (under part of the bath and toilet. It looks as if the water has been slowly seeping from faulty a water pipe connection(s) over a long time. The joists are fine but a portion of the floor needs replacing. Water has also got in behind the melamine around the bath. All in all, the tiles need lifting, the floor repaired and new bath and/or shower fitted. I'm not entirely sure what the best options are so some advice would be most welcome.
