Conversion of attached double garage into 2 bedrooms + bath
Job description
Property, built in 2014, has an existing double garage 6.0x6.0 attached (internal access) to existing dwelling. We are looking to convert this double garage area into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom (shower, toilet, vanity). Existing garage has a 4.8m garage door opening on front and a 3.0 x 0.8m aluminum window on each the side and rear. Looking for just the structural stuff so: 1. removal of window 1 of 2 - replacing with plain wall 40mm EPS clad 2. removal of window 2 of 2 - replacing with two 1.2(w) x 2.0(h) new windows. remaining central 0.6 to be 40mm EPS clad 3. removal or sectional garage door - replacing with two new windows: 1.2(w) x 2.0(h) and 1.8(w) x 1.2(h). Remaining to be clad in 40mm EPS. 4. prepare required pipework (concrete cut floor, drain lay etc.) for new bathroom. NB. existing toilet in same floor zone. To be completed to point of: Exterior - full/final finished, plastered, painted Interior - to point of plastered, waterproofed and plumbed (bathroom). we'll finish (flooring, paint, trim etc.)
