Looking for expressions of interest for a new house build at Bronte, Mahana area in Tasman DC. Single storey, Maxraft Slab floor, timber frame, some truss roof some skillion roof; 25º and 10º pitches. 174m2 including integral garage. near flat site, minor earthworks required to level site but some soft soil replacement to 300 deep. Vertical Colorsteel primary cladding with secondary cladding in local rusticated weatherboard. On site infrastructure required, power at boundary. A straightforward build on an easy new site. Looking for builders who are lenient on markups for subbies and materials, shared responsibility contract suggested; owner pays bills / builder manages job and is responsible for all trades and suppliers performance. No Full Contracts, no full quotes, rather; cost estimates on hourly rate contract. Plans complete sufficient for accurate pricing at present - need 2-3 keen and friendly builders to provide costing estimate to be considered for hire and to verify budget limit. Plans CAD drawn to large readable scales on A2 'paper' by designer with 45 years experience, all fully detailed, no guess work... Thanks.
