I would like to make room in my small kitchen for a dishwasher (already purchased). My plan is to remove an old built-in hot water cupboard that currently cuts into the kitchen (full-height, floor to ceiling), this should make suitable room to fit the dishwasher in. The house was converted to gas hot water some time ago, so there is no water cylinder inside the cupboard, just shelving, and the walls are thin Pinex(?) stuff, so shouldn't be too difficult to remove. There is a single lightswitch that would also need to be moved. So in summary: - removal of two thin walls that form the cupboard - tidying up floor edges/ceiling where cupboard was - relocation of light switch I've attached a photo of the cupboard (highlighted in red), the door into s in the dining room so it's just the wall facing the camera, and alongside the fridge that needs to be removed. I'm not too concerned about the door staying in place for now (until I renovate the kitchen completely).

Very happy with the finished job, and appreciated the re-use of existing timber and materials from the removed cupboard where possible to keep the cost down while still achieving a tidy job.
