Replace Wooden Windows with Double Glazing

100 Year Old Villa Desperately needs replacement Windows. Currently has Wooden Single Glazed Wanting to replace all the Bedroom Windows in time for Winter and the rest of the house at a later time Windows are approx 92cm Wide by 200cm High x6 (one in each bedroom) Unsure if we want new wood or aluminium. Please advise pros and cons (I've heard there are delays with aluminium because of covid)
