Front garden noise barrier for house

I’m looking in to putting sound noise blocking wall in front of my house against a busy road. Looking for someone who’s done this type of thing before ideally. I’ve kind of looked in to the possibility of a block wall at about 2.2m high and I think that will be very expensive given the size of the frontage (about 30m plus a gate, plus a few meters return on each side). I’ve sent that concrete slat fences may be viable instead, but keen for some expert guidance.
