Sound proofing wall

A wall in the master bedroom is adjoining to another bathroom. At times this is proving to be very noisy. I'd like someone to add an extra layer of gib on top of a frame of 2x4s on top of the existing wall. Ideally the same person can do the stopping. There are 2x power sockets on the wall which I am happy to organise with a electrician friend.
