Decking timber replaced

Replace decking timber. The timber is rotting in places and needs to be replaced. The new decking is to be laid parallel to the house - unlike the current timber. I am planning to remove old decking timber in prep for work. I have started removing the rotten timber and note that there is rot on the framing, which will need to be replaced too. Once i have removed the rest of the timber i will call for quotes on repairs. Am planning to add some steps at the southern end of the deck to go up onto the bank. So would like some thoughts on that too. I surveyed the deck today and it is approx 26m squared. Cheers
