Wood Burner Removal
Job description
I have a wood burner in my lounge which I would like removed (including the flue). I have drawn a floor plan noting measurements, see attached photos the area is under 2 square metres. I want the wood burner and flue removed and taken away, and to 'make good' the floor area where the wood burner is being removed from and the ceiling where the flue is removed. I'm not sure if there is any other work that will be required between the ceiling and the roof. I am happy for and my preference would be for the protruding flue extending through the roof to stay as is but it will need to be sealed to prevent leaking from the rain - I am not sure if this is the way to go with the flue and am open to suggestions. I would like this job to commence around mid Feb 2017 and would appreciate comment on how long this job may take to complete.

Extremely impressed with the end result of the job and cost. Steve and his plus one (sorry I didn't catch his name) were very meticulous when carrying out the work. The final cost came in under the original quote as the job was alot more straight forward than first thought and communication was perfect in terms of being in touch when required and helping me understand what was going on. Would very much recommend Abacus Property Services Ltd to others without hesitation!
