re line basement

We require a builder or suitable trades person so assist in the removal of lining in our basement as we are in the final stages of some renovations. Our basement is flooding and will have some work done shortly to remedy this situation so the job may involve removing the lining / ceiling returning 1 week later to re line the room. The basement was built in the 1970's and i don't know what the material is. however would like to replace this with plywood sheets / gib / OSB etc depending on cost.
