I have removed sarking from walls (and ceiling) of one room so i can gib. One wall (with door) has no base plate and studs by door are out of alignment with rest of wall. I am not sure whether it was built this way or over time, the base of the door has shifted as there is no baseplate and one stud has crack at bottom. All four corners of room will also need extra studs added so gib can be attached. Looking for experienced tradesmen / builders to offer practical solutions.
