Build in the existing porch space (3.5 x 1.5m)

We are looking at extending bedroom wall out 1.5m into the porch area of our bungalow. We will be getting council consent once find a builder and get some quotes. The porch will need to be pulled down we imagine and then bedroom wall extended out. We are happy to do demo work and other bits to help too, to help keep our costs down and also beachside we have renovated house ourselves so far.
