Hi there. We need existing not finished external wall partition to be demolished and new external partition wall to be installed made of either from aerated concrete blocks or aerated concrete panels with a ranch slider. Here is the background: the owners engaged a builder to close-off an area around sauna to provide some shelter. The builder was instructed to use aerated concrete blocks as a wall system, however it was ignored and he built a timber framed wall with Hebel panels as a cladding. Unfortunately he has not created any ground clearance between the exterior Finished Ground Level and a bottom plate (it is flush) + obviously he could not do any gap for cavity ventilation. Therefore, timber inside the walls will be constantly moist and it will result in rot and mould...Despite the fact the walls are non structural, mould would be still an issue. Therefore, the owners now want to completely demolish these walls and to build them properly using aerated concrete blocks or panels (moisture will not be an issue for those). I am attaching a draft plan with the walls required highlighted. Please note, there is now a ranch slider instead of a door.
