Job description

Garages & Carports Mangere East, Manukau

Published on 12th February 2026

~15-20 years ago, it appears someone did a DIY job of trying to bridge the gap between an existing carport and the house, to create a larger covered area. It's leaked in some places leading to some rotting timber propping up one corner of the carport, and also in a small area where the carport attaches to the eaves.

I'm looking to get the dodgy and ugly parts removed and tidy up what is left (preparing the property for sale). Very open to ideas and recommendations on the more affordable and tidy ways to do this. Some new guttering will also need to be fitted on that stretch of the house where the attached part is removed.

"Surinder was excellent to deal with - responsive and provided a very thorough and reasonable quote. Unfortunately the job didn't proceed as we unexpectedly received an offer to sell the house "as is"."
