Material cutting table

We need an existing table altered to make the top wider and the height taller. I am envisioning a flap that can be folded down while not in use but is also able to withstand a lot of pressure when it is. The bottom just needs a platform or something built so that it is a little taller. If this idea doesn't work I have a backup plan. I need this job completed asap please.
