Climbing wall

Job description

General Building
Hutt Valley

I want to build a small climbing wall in the room off my garage. The idea is to have a very steep wall, 3 panels ( --- ) at 55 degrees (off vertical). This should give me a surface of 3.6m x 2.4m, that protrudes about 3.1m from the back wall of the garage and fits under the low (2.1m) ceiling. It will need to brace off the wall on one side, and probably ceiling joists. It needs to be very solid and structurally sound, with a decent frame so it doesn't flex when loaded. The photos show the space and a basic sketch of the plan. I'll rip out the work bench, and probably prep the panels (they will need a grid of holes drilled and T-nuts hammered in for the climbing holds). The wall should finish just above the door of the room. Keen for someone to visit to see the space, talk through the plans and options, and give me a quote.

Easy to work with and very happy with the result. A bespoke project that Jarrod planned and built quickly. Work is done to a high standard, it looks great and works well.
