My wife wants to install a yoga trapeze in one of our spare rooms. This will require a couple of load-bearing brackets in the ceiling. Given the weight bearing will be that of a full sized adult (e.g. up to 100kg) with quite a bit of movement expected, I’m guessing the brackets need to connect to a beam in the roof cavity. No idea if this exists; how to connect to any such beam though the (plaster) ceiling; etc. Seeking a builder who can help solve it!
