We're purchasing a property that requires a face-lift prior to renting. The work required is: Demolition of one non-load bearing wall including a few overhead cabinets Demolition of a few small cupboards Removal of vinyl floor tiles Removal of all existing carpet Removal of net curtains and some of the drapes Removal of formica panels in bathroom and replacement with hardiglaze or similar Possible removal and replacement of bathroom vanity New laminate benchtop installation Timber floors to be polished in hallway/ dining/ kitchen New wall paint throughout, and some ceilings Carpet to be installed in bedrooms Possible replacement of deck surface (deck structure sound) I do not live in Foxton so viewings will not be immediately possible.
