I'm looking for a builder to come and certify a room in my home that was renovated by previous owners about 7 years ago .It was a carport which is part of the original house plan attached to home with common roof structure.They gives painted carpeted and put in a ranch slider.No plumbing . The previous owners did not get a CCC from Auckland city council and now I'm having trouble selling my home as this keeps coming up on builders reports. If I get a builder to certify this I can apply to council for exemption from have CCCas this room was renovated by previous owners and not me.I am the innocent party here.Quote please?
