Window seat sill repair

Window seat wooden sill is starting to rot and needs to be repaired or replaced before it subsides and affects glass seal above it. It is in corner of window seat with glass immediately above as per photo. Length of sill is approx 1.5m in each direction from corner. House is in Matarangi between Whitianga and Coromandel town. Not sure if need to take window frame out or not
