Hang a large heavy mirror

This is a very large and heavy mirror that needs to be hung with extra reinforcement in the wall. In my previous home the builder worked out where the mirror’s ‘hanging hooks’ were, cut out the gib, put in extra bracing in the walls between studs, screwed in large wall screws, recovered with gib (not needing plastering/stopping) and hung the mirror. The screws need to be in exactly right place for the mirror ‘hooks’ and be level. Attached a photo of the mirror installed in previous home
