Fix gap in floor

Earthquake left a gap between my floor and wall up to 2cm maybe? in my lounge. Wall approx 3.3m long. Temporarily attached wood to front of skirting board to cover the gap - we live above garages in a block of flats so there was quite an updraft. Need wood and skirting board removed, and floor fixed so there is no longer a gap. Think the floor under carpet may be chipboard square tiles (these were in bathroom & kitchen, but not sure about rest of flat). We probably stuffed the skirting board attaching the wood so this will need replacing. About to get new carpet put down, but need the floor fixed properly first.

Excellent job with the door replacement. Skirting boards no longer connect which was caused by the nature of the issue that I was getting fixed. Could have looked at replacing connecting boards as well had this been picked up in the innitial quote (though I overlooked this as well). Fortunately not very noticeable due to set up of lounge, but a great deal better than it was.
