Deck and minor landscaping

Looking to replace my small backyard deck with a larger one, approx 5m x 3.8m. Wanting the deck to extend all the way to the back fence, ending about a meter short of where the grass currently finishes at the end facing the clothes line.
Additionally wanting to replace the remaining lawn and garden with pebbles to match what's there currently. Some of the required pebbles can be sourced from the area that is to be covered by the new deck.
Unsure of decking materials, open to recommendations. I have been quoted for composite decking and kwila.
