Industrial style hallway needs finishing - awkward job

This is an unfinished project. I live by the port in Lyttelton and wanted to bring that aesthetic to the entrance of my house so have experimented with stainless steel. The front door has worked well. But we had some complications with the interior, and it all got a bit much for the guy who took the job on. So here I am. This is an awkward job and is not going to suit the majority of tradies. But for somebody, this is an opportunity to work on something unique, use a broad skill set, think on your feet and to trouble shoot.
