Creating space for dryer
Job description
I have a little baby on the way so trying to simplify my washing process for that. I would like to fit a dryer above the current washing machine but the space is literally a few centimetres too small on the sides and top. I would need the space widened so a dryer can hang above the machine and the dryer to be vented (Option A). See photos below. I’m also interested in Option B, making the space larger overall, as there are 2 unnecessarily deep wardrobes in the room on the other side. So you could close this off to make it accessible from the other side, which would mean there is a laundry and storage space accessible from the bathroom. See plan in last photo - I added the red line. I’d also be I want this completed before the baby arrives, so by mid-November or ideally sooner.

Isaiah promptly got in touch to view and provide a quote to install a dryer above our washing mashing (which involved removing some old shelving) and ducting it through the house to the outside, and well as vent a toilet fan and fix a loose weatherboard on the exterior of the house. He arrived on time, finished the job efficiently and was a pleasure to deal with. I’m happy I no longer have to wheel the dryer outside the house to use it! Life changing...
