Removed and replace rafters to allow a hot water cylinder into the ceiling

I need to put our hot water cylinder in the ceiling and the rafters aren't wide enough. The cylinder is disconnected and the gib ceilings have been removed so the job is to cut a rafter, lift the cylinder into the ceiling and then repair the rafter. I have a plumber & sparky to do the rest. I need this done asap.
