We want to renovate our kitchen (diy) and make it open plan. To do this, we require a wall partially removed and have been told it might be load-bearing, although we are unsure. First, we need to confirm if it is or not so we can deal with consents and then we want to open up 2200mm of the 3400mm wall. See pics. We also want to remove a door and replace with gib. Registered builders please.
