Auckland

We've got a big fishing boat that needs a building added to the aft deck. The building is on a slope so we are considering a basic cambered floor to offset this angle. Would like to find someone who has experience with creating decent waterproofed walls etc. We have a simple design but your experience will be drawn upon before finalising designs and starting construction. Your help in choosing the right building materials will be appreciated. Marine ply will be used on framing. Sealed with marine grade paint. Currently there are vertical upright steel box sections, we plan to weld tabs onto these and then bolt wooden framing to the tabs. Plywood in and out and plexi-glass windows with flashing. There are angled walls on the rear corners. A large ranch slider will be purchased as the main entrance. Welding and steel work will be done to requirements by myself or one of crew. No cleaning up etc required. Most tools are on the ship, you can bring your own or request we provide something if you don't have it. Best to come have a look at the boat yourself if you are interested. Its a great place to work and you can keep a fishing line in the water and bring home snapper! You will be provided transport to and from shore at your desire. You will have at least one trained lackey to assist but probably two of us to help get the job done. I expect this will take 2-3 weeks including the roof. Timeline is flexible, but completion by Christmas would be ideal. Get in touch and lets have a chat. Thanks, Craig
