Seal off door for noise control

We live in a two story house and the bottom part of the house is it's own self contained unit / living area. We want to seal off this small door to block noise between upstairs and downstairs. This door purely provides internal access between the top & bottom parts of the house but due to the bottom section being it's own self contained unit, we want to seal off this door to help with noise control. Idea is to seal it off but we'd also like to open up this door area again in a few years time. We only want to seal off the door with whatever solution works best at the moment that will block noise quite well but then also will not be a big job to undo in future. The door area is about 3/4 the size of your standard indoor house door. It's right next to our main entrance door, as you can see in the pictures.
