Replace wooden fence with brick

Replace existing cheap wooden fence line between properties with large concrete brick fence to help reduce noise. Approximate length of fencing to be replaced is 10m. Keen to understand potential noise reduction from doing this - specifically reducing noise from basketball next door, noting the neighbours property is lower down as well than mine on which the current fence is built.
