Job description

Brick Fences & Garden Walls Schnapper Rock, North Shore

Published on 31st January 2026

I have planned to put a raised garden bed as indicated and got some trees planted in advance of the raised walls being built as I did not have time for this last year. I had hoped to do this work myself however I am considering if someone else with experience with masonry should do it instead. Width: 1m Length: 6.8m Height: 0.45m (more or less) There would be a level concrete foundation to lay the bricks/blocks onto. And there would be no protruding wood from those boxed trees to get in the way. Those pavers would also be moved away. I had intended to use a narrow block and render it at the end however I am open to using a light coloured brick with no render instead. You can see at the lower left of the picture, that corner is not square because the angle of the garden bed to the path is not 90 degrees so some care would need to be taken with these two corners. At the other end those corners can be square. This is in schnapper rock. If this is something you do and you're interested could you give me a fair estimate for this including the kind of brick you'd use and supply of those bricks and any other materials you need. The quality of the result is important because this wall is highly visible. Balanced with the cost because this is not urgent and given a lot of time I could do this myself. and learn along the way. It may make sense to have your help as I have had help for other things to get them done sooner / more reliably than doing myself.
