2-Storey Model Brick Building
Job description
We are doing a university project testing the seismic performance of old URM buildings in New Zealand. We have cut 2500 half-scale "mini-bricks" and need someone to build a 2-storey building measuring about 1m x 2m at the ground and about 1.7m high. The testing will be done on a shake-table in an East Tamaki warehouse and we can supply any materials required. We're currently fixing the shake-table and are aiming to start construction early/middle of next week.

This unique job turned out to be much more complicated than at first glance, and we were able to negotiate a more appropriate price. The job was of relatively good quality but he failed to turn up on two different days without letting us know beforehand or communicating with us on the day, which led to a finish date almost a week later than we'd originally anticipated.
