Chimney repointing of historical home.

Hi we have damp on either side of our chimney. The house is two story and built in 1896. A building surveyor in our family says it will need repointing in the brickwork. Any one in the north canterbury area that can advise and would be happy to quote would be welcome to contact me for more details , thanks in advance. The chimney is roughly five bricks wide either side, back to back with another room. The damp is about 1.5 metres high at the moment .
