We are restoring a 120 year old double storey villa at Oke Bay in the Bay of Islands. The villa was moved onto it's present site about 30 years ago. When it was moved, the bricks in the fire place, were removed for the move. The cavity which housed the bricks is still in tact, and extends from the first flow or group floor, right up to the roof. We we are looking for someone who can re-instate the bricks and get the fire place going again. The fire place is situated between the lounge and the dining rooms i.e. you can see from one room to the other through the first place! It would be incredible to get it re-instated.
