Repair hole in brick wall after removal of heat pump

I have a 1970s brick and tile house. I have just had a heat pump in the kitchen removed. Where the ducting from the interior to exterior unit passed through the wall has left a hole in the plasterboard inside and the brick wall outside. We would like the hole in the brick cladding repaired. We have some bricks that have been removed from another location on the house that can be used for the repair.
