New Flooring

I have vinyl in the kitchen dining room and laundry which has tested positive for asbestos backing, I have had a few firms come in to look at it with a couple of quotes. I get the impression they simply don't want to do it as it is all too hard. It has been a nightmare. The lounge has been completed and the rimu floorboards look great. I would like to match this at least in the dining area. Some have suggested I just cover with some else it contrast however I feel this will not look good. I have looked at samples and can't find anything that works:-(. Help!
