Textured ceiling removal

We have asbestos textured ceiling above a small spiral staircase and in a rumpus room...approx 20sqm. Required to be removed in a proper manner as we kids and would not want any health risk associated with asbestos. Not sure if needs council involvement, hopefully not. I can imagine that would just be additional cost for stuff all benefit. We are in Glenfield north shore. Job is ready to go hoping to be done within a couple of weeks time. Cheers.
