Drafting Services for a replacement garage, deck and internal renovations
Job description
Hi, I'm looking for working drawings for the following: 1) Replace a garage that was built in the 1920s, and was clearly sized for a 1920s car! We'd like to demolish the existing garage and replace with a larger one, keeping the features of the garage (cladding, roof pitch etc.) consistent with the house. Note that the garage is on road reserve. 2) Adding a deck to the upper level at the back of the house, possibly with steps down to the existing deck on the lower level. 3) Modifications to the inside of the house, including some new walls, linings and insulation, replace the 1980s kitchen and replace the two 1960s and 1980s bathrooms. 4) Adding bracing to the supports for the addition at the back of the house (which was extended in the 1920s and 1960s), to make it more safe in earthquakes. I have initial plans and further details of all items available on request. Time is of the essence - I'd like to get the process started pretty much immediately and have the required documents into council ASAP. Note that for the last item (the bracing) I think we'll need the input of a structural engineer, so if you know of one that can do the work that would be great. Thanks!
