Unconsented Back-porch - does it meet standards

As part of finance clause in purchasing a house, we need to identify if some unconsented work in a house meets current building standards. A small section of a back porch has been closed off, while the roofline did not change, we would like to assess if there is any structural changes and cladding requirements needed to meet current building standards. We have a short timeline to access the work and get finance approval. Estimate the initial work would be 1-2 hours on site max. Based on the initial result if any work is required a quote would be needed for the bank.
