Plans for 1st Floor Deck over a Carport - Council Consent.

We plan to add a carport/boat storage to the side of our house. We would also like to add a deck to the top of the carport connected to our existing 1st floor deck and accessed via an already existing doorway. The design of the deck will need to meet out existing deck. No alterations will be made to the house, other than changing two windows, one will become a door. We have just had full plans drawn-up for a different alteration consent, with all details. We'll deal with the actual consent process ourselves. We just looking for plans for the deck/carport to meet council requirements.
