1st Floor Deck with Pergola Roof

Our front door should be accessed via the front deck but there is no staircase, so access is via the Garage below or door at the rear of the house. We're looking to remove the existing deck and build a new one from the ground up including a 1m wide staircase. The Stairs will lead off to the right (heading down) and then return back toward the driveway at the halfway point (or there abouts) The Existing deck is 2.7m off the main lounge wall so we will extend this out by 1m to be 3.7m deep, making the front balustrade in line with the upper section of the new staircase leading off of it. We also was to include a Pergola Frame (able to support PSP aluminium & perspex clear roofing) which will mirror the lounge gable and meet the front of the deck. We need to keep the view in mind when designing this part. See photo's of existing deck. We want the new decks joists to come off the main beam, not sitting on top of it as is current, so we gain more height under it as this area will double as a car port. We plan to install a metal ceiling on the underside. New Dimensions: 6.5m Wide 3.7m deep (plus an extra metre in front the the main door area. 1m wide staircase Ground to deck Height is 2.4m We're looking for an estimate on design costs so we can look at build costs. We are looking for advice on solutions to manage costs but deliver what we're wanting rather than see it blow out, thins is Kingston, not Lake Hayes ;-) The price indication I feel is pointless here, so have set it at minimum.
