Drawings of existing space in house

We have an unconsented downstairs area in our house which we wish to have 'ticked off' for resale purposes. We cannot ascertain whether the area (a bedroom, bathroom and lounge) was lined and completed prior to the building consent act or not so we wish to have a record (basic drawings) of this area on our files - not for any further structural renovation. The whole area is part of the original building plans but seems to have been repurposed as another living area. There is no screaming deadline for this but if there is a draughtsperson out there looking for an easy, simple job we would love to hear from you.
