Ancillary dwelling conversion

Hi, we are looking at converting one end of our house into a separate dwelling. We are wanting this to be consented, and are aware that we will need to fireproof the separating walls. But not exactly sure as to the extent of fireproofing needed. The plans will also need to have The bathroom and kitchen locations. Thanks for your help. Bonnie and Yeti
