Hi. We have a shelter hedge on our small lifestyle property that is in desperate need of a cut back! On the attached aerial photo I have marked in red the priority area - this is the area that can be seen in all the other photos - it needs a hard cut back on the top and sides. It is a tall hedge (made up of monkey apple trees) with paddocks on one side and a small orchard area on the other. Since these photos were taken we have trimmed the lower part of the hedge on the paddock side to clear the fence line. There is vehicle access to this area but it is on a slope and only a small tractor will fit on the orchard side. The parts marked yellow on the aerial photo are are not such a priority (and there is no vehicle access to the part behind the house). It would be good to get these trimmed as well, but it would depend on the total cost. The larger yellow area mostly needs to be topped - the sides could be tidied up but being exposed to the wind, they are not bushy like the ones in the photos. All cuttings can be left on the property - chipped up if possible. The property is just past the South Head Golf Course - about twenty minutes drive from Helensville.
