Cut down and remove dying cabbage tree

I have a dying cabbage tree that I need to have removed. It's adjacent the fence and my neighbour's garage, and it's too tall to be cut down in a single go. I'm on a back section and there's a narrow turn at the head of my driveway, as shown in the photos.
