Fix or replace InSinkErator (not turning on)

Hi there,

We’re looking for someone to diagnose and fix our InSinkErator food waste disposer, which is currently not working at all.

Details:

The unit does not turn on (no noise, no buzzing)
We’re not certain which wall switch controls it, so it may be a power/switch issue
The unit also appears clogged/jammed internally (see photos)

Scope of work:

Diagnose whether the issue is electrical or with the unit itself
Check power supply and switch
Attempt to reset/unblock the unit if possible
Repair if viable, or advise on replacement if needed
If replacement is required, happy to proceed with supply and install

Located in Wellington CBD (Te Aro).
