"I diagnosed the problem remotely as being a failed defrost heater element in the freezer compartment, based on the "loud scraping sound" emanating from the fridge/freezer, negating the need to visit the site twice. I called when advised that the replacement part had been delivered. I removed the freezer compartment back panel and my suspicions were confirmed, the evaporator was a solid block of ice.; melted and successfully completed the repair. Polly was lovely to deal with. Thanks Polly 😊."
