My F & P rangehood has been dripping oil from centre for sometime and is now making a loud noise after being on for a short time. Is 13 years old. Only interested in repair if it will last

Cost was more than originally quoted and although is now going better i cannot use full speed as noisy and still sounds as if knocking. Had i known the true cost may have opted for replacement as this was quoted by another tradesman for only an extra $50
